My makeup staples!

So, I have wanted to write this blog for a while now. I think it is so interesting how some makeup products become a favorite over others. I can definitely say that my favorite products have changed in just a year or so that I have been blogging. So not only am I writing this for you guys, I am also writing this so that I can look back in the future and see how much I have changed. Make sure you put your makeup staples in the comments or let me know what I need to try!! I love hearing from you guys!

Makeup Remover: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in All-in-1 Mattifying.

Moisturizer: I know every type of skin needs moisturizer. I have just found that using any type of moisturizer just makes my skin so much oilier. To make sure that I get something on my skin, I have been using E.L.F.’s hydrating serum. Which feels amazing to put on, and not super heavy like a lot of the moisturizers I have tried.

Primer: I don’t currently have one. I have used half a dozen different ones, but I still haven’t found the one that works the best for me.

Foundation: Still looking here too. Like I said above, I have very oily skin, and I have a lot of trouble finding a foundation that doesn’t start to slide down my face after about an hour. So far, my favorite has been the Kat Von D Lock-It foundation. This one stays in place fairly well. But as I get further into the day it settles in the lines around my mouth really badly.

Brush or Sponge: Right now, I’m addicted to my Morphe M439 to put on foundation or to blending out contour.

Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape! Was this one even a question though?

Setting Powder: Still searching! I would really like a setting powder that can handle me! Nyx and Flower cosmetics are not up to the job with their setting powders I have tried.

Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit.

Bronzer: I like Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, but this is not set in stone.

Blush: Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics in Kitty Pink.

Highlighter: Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Prismatic Amethyst and Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Highlighter. It’s such a tie between these two. They are both so unbelievably gorgeous. This has to be the hardest section for me to pick just one or two. Because hands down, highlighters are my favorite makeup products.

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown. I just recently bought this, and I really need to do a review!

Eyeshadow Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been using this for a least ten years!

Eye Shadow Palette: Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette. I love doing natural looking smokey eyes with this palette! If I am going somewhere and I need to do my makeup I grab this beaut!

Eyeliner: I love eyeliner! But my skills are still improving. SO right now, I do not have a favorite.

Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Are there even any other contenders? No, of course not!

Setting Spray: Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control. No explanation needed here.

Lipstick: Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Paint in Rose.

I Hope that you guys had as much fun reading this as I did writing it. Don’t forget to comment your favorites!! Be sure to keep on the lookout for new content!
